Environmental responsibility is part and parcel of our menu
Hoffmann Catering strongly believes in taking responsibility for our environment and for the welfare of future generations.
Since July 2008, we have been certified to store, process, and serve organically produced food in our restaurants and catering.
We strive to avoid the use of natural resources threatened by over-fishing, and we take pride in our progressive focus on regional and ecologically sound foods.
Although we make extensive use of domestic suppliers, this does not mean a limited range of flavors, as we are able to provide a full range of seasonal and exotic fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices.
We support local suppliers and encourage them to diversify from monoculture practices. This emphasis on local produce also means a lower CO2 footprint due to shorter transport distances from the producer.
Finally, we extend an environmental awareness into our purchasing and storage, by making extremely limited use of frozen foods.
